Solar electrification in our structure
Dear friends and benefactors,
We have a project to install solar panels as soon as possible on:
1. our monastery
2. our school;
3. the seminary and
4. in the convent of our Benedictine sisters.
This will save us a lot of money, making our electricity bills four or five times cheaper every month (currently the bills are around $500 USD every month).
The total cost of the installations will be much lower than usual, because some friends have secured free labour and materials at factory prices for us.
For the whole installation we need around $13,000 USD.
We already have some of the money, but we're having trouble coming up with the rest. We thought about taking out a loan, but we'd rather appeal to your generosity than give more money to the "good" bankers...
We are very grateful to those who will help us with this project and we assure them of our daily prayers for all their intentions.
